Description: It’s a students’house ( only allowed for students ) with 12 rooms (a ground floor and 2 levels) in a small village next to Maastricht. The rooms are 10 to 15 m². There’s a communal toilet and shower on each floor. A few rooms have new modern furniture, just in case you wouldn’t have any furniture. There’s an internet connection each room. There’s a communal living room ( with a TV ), a kitchen ( with a fridge, a microwave and a washing machine ), a garden and a bike shed. You can easily park the car in front of the house (there’s always a place free). The communal rooms are cleaned every week or once in two weeks. That also counts for the garden and the collection of the rubbish.

Where? The student house is situated in the: Ierskruisstraat 3770 Lafelt/Vroenhoven (Riemst), a small village close to Maastricht on Belgian territory. Depending on where you have to be in Maastricht it’s 3 to 6 kilometres. It’s easy to go to Maastricht by bike but you can also take the bus that leaves each hour and stops at 800 metres from the student house.

Price and conditions The renting prices are 200 € up to and 250 € a month. Electricity, water, the heating and the cleaning inclusive! The normal rental period is 11 months. Contracts for less than 11 months are also possible. You also have to pay an unique fee of 50 € + (10 € x number of months) for insurance, taxes and trash. For the internet, the cost is 10 € / month, which has to be paid for the whole rental period when signing the contract..

If you’d like to come and see the house, you have to call or mail first for an appointment. For the appointment, you’ve to come to Hardy at Maastrichtersteenweg 84 3770 Vroenhoven. From this place we’ll go with you to the students’house. The Maastrichtersteenweg is a big road that starts at Maastricht and leads you to Tongeren in Belgium. From Maastricht on they call it the ‘Tongerse weg’ and the route changes its name from the moment you cross the border to ‘Maastrichtersteenweg’.

You can also take the bus in Maastricht. It is nr 62 and you get off the bus at the last stop in Vroenhoven . Please bring along a copy of your passport. We also need a copy of your inscription at the school or university. If you don’t have it at the moment you sign the contract , you need to bring it afterwards.
